We manage each step, from marketing your merchandise, to handling the credit card transactions, to sending your shipments to the customer.
How do I become a consignor?
- Inquire with us over email consignment@luxvie.com with a description of your items for sale.
- We will respond within 24-48 hours, and if your merchandise is approved for consignment, we will attach a consignment application and agreement for you to review.
- Fill out the form, sign and date the first page of agreement and send it back to us via your carrier of choice using certified postage, along with your merchandise to our shipping address. If you are local, we can also arrange pick up.
- That’s it!! Now just sit back and wait to receive an email notification when your product sells and wait for a check to arrive for your share of the gross.
- We will send you a copy of the executed contract once we receive your goods.
- We handle the photography, descriptions, advertising, website management, pricing, financial transactions, validation, shipping & handling and customer service.
As a consignor, how do I receive payment?
Once your merchandise is sold, you will be notified within 48 hours via email and you can expect to receive a check within 10 days.
How do I track my merchandise status?
You can go on our website at any time to see if your merchandise has been sold. We will provide you the SKU numbers to keep track of your merchandise.
What is the fee structure for consignors?
Please inquire directly with us over email consignment@luxvie.com or call us directly (516) 384-4756. Our fee model for consignment is negotiable and assessed on a case by case basis depending on rarity and price point of merchandise. Distant consignors must incur the initial shipping cost to us, but it will be reimbursed once the item sells. (UPS ground, or USPS 1st class mail)
